6 months old

Sorry this post is a little late. We have been busy - 6 month checkup with shots(fun), trying to eat off the spoon with success, nap with some kind of schedule (which we are already off of), sign up for swim team for Grace, easter egg stuff, work stuff, leaving wallets in inappropriate places(mom's car) and general running around. I have also planned a trip to my happy place, Disney World! So anyway here are some pictures of the big 6 month old and some of Grace in our month since being home from surgery. Lily is doing great working on getting back on track with sitting up, tummy time and building up those chest muscles again. Mommy is working on the schedule thing, with meds, sleep and eating thrown in it gets a little complicated from time to time - I wasn't so stringent with Grace, but Lily seems to really thrive on a strict schedule. Grace is being a great big sister and getting ready for Kindergarten - registration comes up this week. She is so ready, I am working getting myself ready for the big girl to head off to school.

I'm so glad that you all are doing so well!! And everything is SLOWLY getting back to normal. What is normal again??

And yet again, I'm sorry I freaked your husband out.
But who can resist wanting to hold a beautiful baby?!!

Just keep reminding him, no one got hurt :)

your girls are so lovely Sarah. I can't believe what big eyes Lily has. And I love how you document the months with those pieces of paper next to her. That's a great idea. I wished I had thought of that

We are slowly breaking Lily out of the house. We have to do it when Daddy isn't looking. He has a hard time when the bubble pops and germs can get in. As for marking the months .. I was much better with Grace. So far I missed 2 and 5 months due to hospital/heart issues. It's all good, nothing will be the same for either of them. Now if I could just work on Lily's scrapbook.....
